The Purpose

Since 1988, East Cheshire Hospice has provided compassionate care for adults facing life-limiting illnesses across Macclesfield, Buxton, Congleton, High Legh, High Peak, Knutsford, Poynton, Wilmslow, and surrounding areas. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families through expert medical treatment, emotional support, and spiritual care.
The Hospice’s services range from practical assistance to emotional and spiritual support, along with social and family services, counselling, complementary therapies, and much more.
Its Macclesfield premises include a 15-bed Inpatient Unit and the Sunflower Living Well Centre for outpatient services. The Hospice @Home service also brings specialist care into patients’ homes and provides out-of-hours support.
